Sugu Suguness, P.E.

In the role of Managing Partner and President, Mr. Suguness is responsible for day-to-day management of all aspects of Proto business operations. He has over 30 years of engineering and entrepreneurial experience in the fields of Transportation, Civil, Structural, and Geotechnical Engineering. As a serial entrepreneur he has founded and built several engineering businesses in the past and currently one of the managing partners of Amaazz Group. He earned his undergraduate degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and Master’s degree from The Ohio State University in engineering. He has been awarded the 2016 Distinguished Alumni Award from College of Engineering at the Ohio State University. He has also earned MBA degree from Capital University in Columbus. In the past he has provided services to various US agencies: Department of Defense (DoD) including the National Guard Bureau, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE); the Department of Homeland Security and NASA.
